The Electricity Retailers' and Generators' Association of New Zealand (ERGANZ) provides leadership in the retail and generation sectors and stakeholder engagement with government and regulators to promote an electricity retail market that benefits all customers across Aotearoa. Along with promoting a competitive and sustainable retail electricity market that delivers value to all New Zealanders, we also work with our partners in the electricity sector to advocate for vulnerable families and whānau, supporting the energy needs of those in hardship. ERGANZ represents more than 90% of the market by customer count. Our members include Contact Energy, Genesis Energy, Mercury Energy, Meridian Energy, Nova Energy, Powershop, Trustpower, Bosco, Chargenet, Energy Online, Globug, Prime Energy, and Tiny Mighty Power.
