Simon Harvey is General Manager Contracting for the Westpower/ElectroNet Group, leading its largest business unit with a nationwide workforce of approximately 200 people delivering high-risk energy infrastructure projects.Beginning his career as an Apprentice Electrician in 2007, Simon progressed to senior leadership through technical excellence, consistent delivery, and people-centred leadership. Since his appointment into the GM Contracting role, the contracting business has tripled revenue, significantly improved safety performance, and built a stable, highly capable workforce operating across multiple regions.Simon is recognised for his calm, values-driven leadership, strong operational credibility, and commitment to developing people across the New Zealand energy sector.
