Shaun Brown is General Manager - Engineering and Delivery for Northpower, highly regarded among his peers and colleagues for his natural leadership, innovation and problem-solving skills. An outstanding candidate for the Young Energy Professional of the Year, Shaun started as a Graduate Engineer in 2010 and has progressed through the organisation to where he is now in 2026. He’s contributed to key innovative projects such as New Zealand’s first community-owned large-scale solar farm Te Puna Mauri ō Omaru, asset management using drones and our lines down task force set to improve public safety.
