Powerco – Innovating and collaborating for a successful transition

Powerco’s mahi in the past year has centred on implementing future energy solutions and revising the way it works, including industry collaboration – all to pave the way for a successful energy transition for Kiwis.  Work's included installing New Zealand-first technology, flexible solutions for customer value, and implementing a systematic improvement plan that’s resulted in SAIDI figures being the lowest in a decade. There’s also been a major commercial structural redesign of Powerco’s approach to electricity field work, an externally recognised leadership development programme, a best-ever quarterly result for customer satisfaction, and a top score in an international measure of ESG.
