Fiona Smith


Fiona Smith of Trustpower has worked her way from the grass roots to the board table of the energy industry. She started more than two decades ago as a customer service rep working the phones and, through hard work and perseverance, has ended up as General Manager Customer Operations and a valued member of Trustpower’s senior leadership team. Along the way, Fiona has managed teams through complex change, introduced new products and new technologies, mentored other women in the industry, and been a staunch advocate for vulnerable customers.
