During Tracey Hickman’s 23-year energy industry career she’s grown from a graduate Environmental Advisor into a leader responsible for over 250 staff and the generation assets of a $2.1 billion-listed energy company – Genesis Energy. Tracey’s commitment to communities where Genesis Energy generates has helped her negotiate complex resource consent negotiations and seamlessly integrate the Tekapo Power Scheme. Tracey overcame challenges to make crucial operational and cultural changes at Huntly Power Station and joined together the Generation and Wholesale business units through an innovative asset and risk management system. Her health and safety model saw a 92% reduction in recordable injuries.
