Upstream, downstream and now mainstream

Our partnership with NZ ME this year is providing some great pre-Awards coverage. The 27th July edition of element magazine highlighted some of the finalists this year, with a focus on efficiency, environmental safety and value to consumers.

Both the print and on-line edition of the NZ Herald today (30th July) features a teaser of one of the great stories of community engagement being showcased at the Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards this year.

Awards finalists annouced

The organisers are proud to announce the finalists of the 2015 Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards.

All entries and finalists are a reflection of the high calibre of excellence achieved in the New Zealand energy sector. Now in their sixth year, the Awards see a few changes including the addition of new categories and a fresh look for 2015.

Chairman of the judging panel, Toby Stevenson, says that the standard of entries for the 2015 Awards maintains the high standards set in previous years and the judges had a difficult task selecting finalists.

Record number of awards entries received

Entries closed for the sixth annual Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards on the 19th of May and organisers Freeman Media are delighted with the number of organisations entering and entries received.

More entries have come in than ever before, which General Manager Neil Wembridge says is a ‘real success for the sector’ and a testament to the excellent stories to be told about companies and individuals working in energy in New Zealand.
