NEW HALL OF FAME FEATURE ON 2012 DELOITTE ENERGY AWARDS WEBSITE

A new feature is available on the official Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards website – a winners and finalists Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame showcases the projects of the previous finalists and winners of the Awards.

Previous finalists include Northpower, MB Century and Meridian Energy for 2011 Excellence in Health and Safety Award; Mighty River Power, Z Energy and TrustPower for 2011 Overall Energy Company of the Year; and WEL Networks, Top Energy and The Lines Company for 2010 Lines Company of the Year.

MINISTER TO BE GUEST OF HONOUR AT 2012 DELOITTE ENERGY AWARDS

Freeman Media announced today that Phil Heatley, Minister of Energy and Resources will be the Guest of Honour and Keynote speaker at the 2012 Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards.

Previously Opposition Spokesperson for Energy, Phil was appointed Minister of Housing, and Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture in the National-led Government 2008-2011. He is Minister of Energy and Resources, and Minister of Housing in the present Government.

NEW JUDGE ANNOUNCED FOR 2012 DELOITTE ENERGY EXCELLENCE AWARDS

A new judge has been confirmed for the upcoming 2012 Deloitte Energy Excellence Awards. Harbour Asset Management Managing Director and Portfolio Manager Andrew Bascand joins the joins the eight-member panel.
