The Sparky experience
Powerco’s Sparky is a larger-than-life cartoon character whose mission is to bring a safety message to school children in the company’s electrical distribution area. Sparky takes the form of a superhero, a walking, talking person in a superhero suit who engages easily with 5-to-10-year-olds. Sparky and his assistant present a 10-minute skit at schools showing children how to avoid accidents with Powerco’s electrical installations and power lines. The presentation is accompanied by a video, Sparky book for their school library, stickers for the children and told about Sparky’s website.
