James Howard’s work leading Tranzit’s electric bus programme and with the energy sector to deliver critical charging infrastructure has helped future-proof the business and seen him become an industry leader on the subject.
Following an upgrade he led, Tranzit’s Grenada depot north of Wellington now has enough capacity to simultaneously charge 24 electric buses and features a first-of-kind ‘lane design’ configuration that factors in future growth.
His commitment to getting the job done, an ability to find innovative solutions, and effective leadership and communication skills have made him a key part of Tranzit’s senior leadership team.
